Video: Keke Rider Commits Suicide at LASTMA Office

A Keke rider tragically committed suicide by hanging at a LASTMA office after his tricycle was impounded and forcibly taken away by LASTMA officers. The incident has shocked the local community and raised questions about the treatment of Keke riders by authorities.

Witnesses reported that the rider desperately pleaded with the officers multiple times, hoping to regain possession of his tricycle, which was his sole source of livelihood. His pleas were met with slaps and were ignored, leaving him in a state of utter despair.

Despite explaining that the tricycle was his only means of income, the officers refused to listen. The rider’s repeated attempts to reason with them fell on deaf ears, exacerbating his desperation and hopelessness.
